Daesh or ISIS: Do you know what you are saying or how you sound off?

Little note to those who argue that "Daesh" for ISIS is better because 1) it supposedly pisses off ISIS (there are some vaguely similar words in Arabic, which are gossiped to be irritating both to the Arab and non-Arab speaking militants of ISIS) and because 2) Daesh is "more sensitive" toward Islam.

As to No. 2: guess what, the word "Islamic" is part of ISIS Arabic name from which the acronym Daesh was created--ad-Dawlah al-Islāmiyah fī 'l-ʿIrāq wa-sh-Shām, leading to the acronym Da'ish or Daesh.
As to No. 1: this claim originates with the US:

Why "Daesh"? Daesh actually sounds like Death. So it makes people say and repeat and read sounds that do evoke "death" ... "death" under the pretense that this is more pious toward Islam and supposedly something which ISIS does not approve of.

This insinuation and a bit of neurolinguistic program has also spread among both the activists and the "activists" as well as Russian info sites.
