Группировка «Джейш Ахрар Аль-Ашаир» входит в состав «Южного фронта» Сирийской свободной армии и ведет теперь боевые действия с запрещенными террористическими организациями.

Российская авиация поддерживает наступление 11 отрядов сирийской оппозиции, ведущих борьбу с террористами, заявил сегодня журналистам начальник главного оперативного управления Генштаба генерал-лейтенант Сергей Рудской.

«Российская авиация оказывает поддержку патриотическим силам, ведущим борьбу с международными террористами на территории Сирии. Сегодня наши самолёты наносят удары в интересах 11 отрядов демократической оппозиции, насчитывающих свыше 7 тыс. человек», — цитирует Сергея Рудского РИА Новости.

Он подчеркнул, что за последние несколько дней ВКС России нанесли 19 авиационных ударов в интересах отрядов группировки «Джейш Ахрар Аль-Ашаир» (Армия свободных племен), входящей в состав «Южного фронта» Сирийской свободной армии.
