Impeachment of Trump and the Perennial Question of Corruption (Machiavelli approves)
The impeachment of Trump is in its unstated essence about which forms of corruption are to be allowed as legitimate and which are to be proscribed and publicly disowned. And in this the ultimate and real criterion is not corruption itself but the call as to which form of corruption is productive and which is not from the point of view of advancing the system and its vital interests. And in this respect both the establishment and the Deep State tend toward the view that Trump's form of corruption is not productive.
