Kiev to Donbass: Minsk always meant your unconditional capitulation, and capitulation is always unilateral; the Kremlin didn't brief you on this, no kidding?

Kiev officially responded to the DPR/LPR unilateral self-demilitarization by making clear that, like Minsk itself, this too is seen as a matter of Donbass unilateral and unconditional capitulation.
Thus, according to Kiev, the DPR/LPR "concessions" (withdrawals etc.) are merely a beginning of the capitulation process prescribed by Minsk and sanctioned by Moscow.

The DPR and LPR (despite conscious lies of the Kremlin propagandists) are considered by Kiev as illegal, terrorist formations which have no right to exist. Any so-called special status or a sort of formal local governance applies, according to Kiev, only to the regions cleared of any DPR/LPR formations and structures.

The Banderite regime's message to Donbass is thus, in contrast with the way too clever, cunning planners in Moscow, almost a plain text: Minsk always meant your unconditional capitulation, and capitulation is always unilateral; the Kremlin didn't brief you on this, no kidding?

Zakharchenko on the camera: "I've not signed the order to withdraw the weapons and I'm not going to"

Zakharchenko right on the camera on July 19:

1) he calls the July 18 shelling of Donetsk by the Kiev regime "mild" ("melkoye"): 2 civilians killed, 5 wounded, 15 houses damaged;
2) tries to justify his praise for the Right Sector, saying that, as a "normal" and "true man," he too would do what the Right Sector is doing in Kiev. The face of the woman behind him, while he is saying this, is consternated and pale. (1:50)
3) then, on the camera, he bluntly lies: he says that, after this shelling, which has just called "mild," he would not sign the order for the withdrawal of the weapons from the front lines ... he "didn't sign it and now he will not sign it" ... well, unless the orders are issued by other people and he is just a local figurehead.

How Ukraine was won or lost; the winning formula: Sun Tzu combined with greed

The fresh picture is from the biggest NATO exercises so far on the territory of Ukraine, happening now.

This is how victory looks like these days.

While the Baltic Republics as well as Ukraine  are busy removing and destroying monuments to the Soviet soldiers who once liberated Europe from Nazism, this image might soon become a new monument symbolizing the historical reversal of proportions the importance of which cannot be underestimated unless one remains in the state of denial or lethargic apathy.

(The holes in the old Soviet tanks were obviously originally made for slimmer soldiers, but that's not the point.)

The patient and systematic work towards Ukraine gave its fruit. If the Soviet leadership sold its allies for a permission to produce an impressive number of instant billionaires, now twenty some years later, Ukraine, a vast prime real estate, which includes Russia's own ancient lands, and just 400 miles from the Kremlin, became not only available, but also taken.

In the meantime, Russian oligarchs have been busy buying out old British aristocrats' estates.

Historians will study for years how with relatively so little, the US achieved relatively so fast what Hitler tried to take with brute force and what other Europeans were merely dreaming of for centuries.

On top of it, Soviet weapons and their soldiers have now become, as CNN once truly put it, American in their function and purpose.

Formula? Sun Tzu and greed changed the game.

At least someone's chess strategy is working. Don't worry, this was all part of Putin's long term plan.

In this chess plan, his king has become the best partner of the other king (at least in his eyes).

PS: Somehow, this also reminded me of the old Yugoslav joke made at the expense of the Bulgarian comrades who beat the Soviet Encyclopedia by copying all its volumes and then adding one of their own: "On the Bulgarian [non-existent] Elephant, the Best Friend of the Russian Elephant."

"Bad peace ( = terrible serfdom) is better than any war (dignity or freedom)"--message from a DPR commander (mis)leading Donbass for the sake of bad oligarchic "peace"

In the peacefully, militarily and politically unilateral spirit of Minsk designed by the masters for the serfs in revolt, Aleksander Matyushin, DPR commander of the Republican Guard (formerly Khodakovsky's Vostok) continued in the spirit of de-motivating the anti-Nazi, anti-oligarchic and national liberation uprising of Donbass. His statement confirmsthat the early promise to liberate the Donetsk and Lugansk Republics at least to the borders of the former regions is being unilaterally "fulfilled" in reverse--by moving weapons toward the Russia border and away from anywhere where it could defend even the current positions. Not to even mention having or thus creating any chance of breaching the lines of the Kiev forces which continue to shell Donbass at will and with ease.

The goal with which the current and political command was clearly tasked by Moscow is to de-motivate resistance and struggle. As the aforementioned commander argues with a help of a would-be truism: "Even bad peace is better than any war." If he truly believed that, then he should not be in the army in the first place. Crawling on one's belly toward one's new (and once rejected) Nazi masters might also be called "bad peace," perhaps even very bad peace, in fact. In political and moral terms, the phrase translated as: Any obedience is better than resistance.

A truly marvelous piece of sophistry to gag and silence the mouth of a serf whose serfdom can be secured only if the serf in fact becomes also a serf in his mind by consuming such lies served to him by other serfs on behalf of the masters.

If Matyushin truly believes what he says, he should lead by example and do what he says unless he believes that it is better not just to crawl in that way by himself, but also to make the whole Donbass follow him, Minsk, and his disgraceful lie/phrase with its "unilaterally peaceful steps" and "unilaterally peaceful marches" bound to cement not only the existing Nazi rule, but also the serf status of the serfs at the hands of the Bandera junta.

Otherwise, Matyushin also believes that having most of one's weapons 3 km away from the front lines means to that this distance is "not big" and that they can be "returned at any moment." Obviously, according to the new cunning military doctrine, once you are attacked, you can always reach your weapons 3-km away, perhaps either by walking or by running. The enemy's attack would certainly allow it (once you start to  run), and receiving the needed permission (required in fact) will be equally simple, fast, and easy. Of course, there might also be a much more simple explanation that Matyushin and people like him have no idea what 3 km is like if it is to be someone else's problem.

In a way, this does makes strangely a sense of sorts. After Moscow has done for 25 years nothing effective or helpful in terms of having what might even deserve to be called a strategy for Ukraine, its strategic genius  (Grand Chess Master) needs to start to learn how to strategize with some very basic, almost infantile schemes.

I begin to believe that all the so-called cunning plans and their even more cunning propagandist rationalizations are just a way of testing how low the IQ of a whole nation can be pushed

Boris Rozhin's local sources confirmed that the order to disband the Donetsk Ministry of Defense was issued and signed. But, when the information was leaked, the order was rescinded (or at least suspended). And, remember, Pushilin called those who who spread the information (alias "false rumor") "enemies."

Somewhat similarly, when the media reported about the decision to unilaterally withdraw weapons of less 100 mm (which includes even heavier machine guns), some were quick to denounce this as a lie. When the decision became confirmed, the best defense of this unilateral demilitarization was that all this is but politicians' talk (Boris Rozhin himself) who lie, while no such an order exists. When it became obvious that the order does exist, then the new fall-back lie/excuse was that  the order too is a partial lie for the withdrawal of all means only a small part or just some. Clearly, neither the order, nor the policy behind it or the lame excuses and forced lies are helpful or any good. The other supporting excuse was that this too is yet another Putin's cunning plan--if the NAF moves away most of its weapons (and with them also some of its troops--for weapons do not usually go by themselves or on their own), then the junta would be successfully "provoked" into attacking the compromised and exposed defense lines of the Army of Novorossiya. Please note that no one, not even Donetsk or the Kremlin, is even mildly suggesting that Mariupol or Avdeevka will be also reciprocally demilitarized. Serfs, whether betrayed or not, but especially the betrayed ones, don't deserve in the eyes of their oligarchic masters any reciprocity.

Bugs and Beetles

In a high bird’s sight
Every man is petite.
No pride, no conceit
Can there veil your eyes.

You see the busy ants
Running round in circles,
But here above the drowning
In their drumms is out and over.

It is quiet where the birds’ heights reign,
So quiet that your thoughts are heard again.
In the wholeness of the candid sky
Human schemes can lie—no longer.

From this height one can perhaps smile
At the buzz of bumbling drones and beatles,
Who go to collect and repossess
The essence of dirty, broken dishes.

One thing the sophists mean and say,
When the fools give them back another,
But, in life, all is one and very equal,
If adjusted, after hitting the bottom.

But the world of bugs and beetles
Keeps doing business with its buzz,
Except for some lyre’s gentle weepin’,
Which a sawyer-rapper strums and clicks.

And on and off the loner plays,
Until music spreads his wings
For a cruise surely to somewhere
Over the silver steppe and grass.

Rendering of Mozgovoy's poem No. 22 (Formula for his ressurrection)

I hear voices rise and glide over the Don untamed

I hear voices rise and glide
Over the Don untamed,
The evening turned to silk,
And purple is its dye.

The whole steppe expanse
Speaks in that evening song,
Now the chorus and now just one
Spin and span the sky with joy.

Women’s love is in the air,
in the laughter, in the tune,
In it the heart is almost bare,
So is pleasure when plain and true.

So well they chant and spell
That your heart is for them to pluck,
To pick, to play, and you think
That their beauty is divine.

Till the dawn you want to be
In their notes both low and high,
Which, in refrains, songbirds repeat
In the boughs or in the grass below.

Suddenly the river too will join,
Forgetting to remain untamed,
And the waves will liberate
the Don from pain and anger.

Echoes will be trembling
Through the ancient woods,
When both the wind and trees
Are for each other alive.

How much I wish I returned
To these days—that music!
Then gladly I would go and sink
Into the dew and waves of my gentle fields.

The spring of my life is in those songs,
Which I want to sing, hoist and drink,
So that my soul can fly and float
One with all, far and wide over the Don.
